Location and Amenities

The Cabin and The Chalet are located 75 miles from Spokane, 12 miles by car or 5 miles by boat from Sandpoint, and 0.5 mile from the Bottle Bay Resort restaurant and boat launch. The two dwellings are 150 feet apart. The cabin, beach, and docks offer spectacular views of the lake and Selkirk Mountains. The houses sit on 0.8 acre and share 240 feet of pebble and rock beach good for swimming. The area is bordered on three sides by majestic firs and cedars affording a sense of privacy.

There are two docks. One 10X50 ft. dock is for the use of the Chalet. The other 70 ft. L shaped dock is used by the cabin and the owners of the property. The docks are available for tying up a boat, or just for sitting, reading and relaxing in the sun. A canoe is available for guests.

There is great hiking and biking nearby. The owner/geologist will be happy to give nature and geologic tours to guests (tour rates negotiable).

The Cabin

The two-bedroom cabin sleeps 4, is fully furnished, and has a complete kitchen with dishes, utensils, pans, microwave, coffee maker and grinder, and a large refrigerator. The 600 square foot deck is 40 feet from the waterfront overlooking the beach and lake. The cabin’s private waterfront is 130 feet long. There is a double bed in one bedroom, a queen bed in the other, and a modular couch in the living room. All bedding is provided plus bathroom and kitchen towels. Water is supplied by a well, and the deck has a picnic table, chairs and a gas barbecue. The cabin has forced air wall heaters and a fire-view wood stove for cold winter nights (firewood provided).

The Chalet

This beautiful, new house sleeps 8 and is fully furnished. Huge decks, with picnic tables, deck chairs and a large gas barbecue, surround the house with a private deck in the back. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher and full-size, side-by-side refrigerator/freezer. It has three bedrooms, plus a large den/bedroom with tree-filtered views of the lake, and three bathrooms. All bedding is provided plus bathroom and kitchen towels. It is also equipped with a washer and dryer.

The Chalet is about 200 feet from the lakefront. It has a private, 110-foot waterfront. The Chalet has its own new 10X50 ft. dock. You can relax on the decks, the dock, the beach, or spend the day enjoying swimming, boating or water skiing.

The ·Chalet has plenty of room for parking and storage space for boats. It is equipped with hydronic heat and forced air wall heaters if needed.

Both of these houses are non-smoking.
